Individuals interested in working with Community Living to provide life-enriching services to people with disabilities are invited to make plans to attend the organization’s upcoming job fair. Set for Thursday, April 14, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the event will take place at Community Living’s Administration Building located at 1040 St. Peters Howell Road in St. Peters. During the event, Community Living will work to fill 25+ full and part-time openings. The fair is free and open to the public, and will offer ample opportunities for individuals looking to start or continue careers as Direct Support Professionals. Those working as Direct Support Professionals with Community Living assist individuals with disabilities who require protective oversight, behavioral support or assistance with the activities of daily living.
Fair attendees are encouraged to dress for success and bring along their resumes to share with representatives from Community Living who will be conducting interviews onsite. In addition to Direct Support positions, Community Living is also looking to hire accountants, Residential Managers and Support Coordinators. Pending background checks, qualified candidates may receive job offers during the event.
“If you have a passion for serving individuals with disabilities, Community Living needs you,” said Melissa Creasy, HR Generalist. “Our upcoming job fair offers the perfect opportunity for job seekers to jumpstart their healthcare careers, and we encourage all those interested in working with us to mark their calendars to attend this great event.”
